Obsidian Engineering Consultants Ltd are an engineering consultancy specialising in Subsea Control Systems for the Offshore Oil & Gas industry.
Subsea controls is a very specialised area of Subsea engineering and we aim to deliver a very specialised service.
How it started
Founded in November 2006 by Alex Collie and Michael Reuss-Newland.
What we provide
Obsidian have a team which includes Controls Engineers, Software Engineers and Draughtsmen with the backing of Document Control, Cost Control and IT to provide a complete service. In building this team we have ensured that all the engineers have an expertise in Subsea Controls and that their knowledge complements each other.
Obsidian ensure that all work is done to our exacting standards and approved by management prior to issue to our client, thus ensuring our clients always receive the same quality of work.
The team have a wide variety of backgrounds both from operators and all the major Subsea Control Vendors and have a cumulative total of over 50 years of expertise.
